The small town lot measures 50 feet wide by 125 feet deep, which is a common size for residential lots. Our small house design features exterior materials including uneven wood shakes and vertical corrugated metal siding. The project incorporates a large surrounding deck with tempered glass panels to ensure that the view of the lake remains unobstructed by wooden balusters. This spacious deck will be perfect for weekend barbecues!

The current property landscape will be cleared as necessary. A new, low-maintenance landscape design will be developed for the property.

A Few Design Features Of The Small House

Our proposed custom one-story small house features an open floor plan. It includes a living room with a full-size kitchen adjacent to it. A full-size bathroom is conveniently located off the entryway and kitchen area. The design includes a spacious bedroom with a large closet, which also houses stacked washer/dryer laundry equipment.

A second-floor loft can serve as storage or a secondary bedroom. It is accessible by a ship ladder from the main floor and is located in front of the bathroom entry. For this particular home design, we have developed a large surrounding deck with glass panels for the handrail.
